"Skillet Pizza: Quick, Crispy, and Irresistible!"
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup yogurt (220 grams)
- 280 grams milk (1 cup)
- 1/4 cup olive oil or regular oil
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Green bell pepper or colored bell peppers, finely chopped
- Tomatoes, optional
- Mozzarella cheese
- Salami or any smoked meats, optional
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.
2. Add 1 cup of yogurt (220 grams), 280 grams of milk (1 cup), and 1/4 cup of olive oil (or regular oil). Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature.
3. Mix the batter with a hand whisk until the consistency is similar to tahini.
4. Heat a pan on high heat and grease it with olive oil. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
5. Lower the heat to the minimum and cover the pan for 2 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, mix 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of thyme, and 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
7. Uncover the pan and spread the sauce mixture evenly over the pizza.
8. Add the chopped green bell pepper or colored bell peppers, and optionally add tomatoes and more chopped peppers.
9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the pizza. Add salami or any smoked meats as desired.
10. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes until the pizza is cooked.
11. If desired, transfer the pizza to a baking sheet and broil in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 5 minutes to get a crispy top.
