"Saudi Masabeeb: A Traditional Delight with a Modern Twist!"
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour.
- 1/4 cup powdered milk.
- 2 tablespoons sugar.
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast.
- 1 teaspoon baking powder.
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric.
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- 1/4 cup oil.
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk.
- 1 egg.
- 2 cups water.
Instructions:
1. In a blender, place the flour and powdered milk.
2. Add the sugar, yeast, and baking powder.
3. Then add the turmeric, cardamom, and vanilla, followed by the oil and evaporated milk.
4. Add the egg and water, and blend well until all ingredients are combined.
5. Let the mixture rest for an hour to rise, or for half an hour in warm temperatures.
6. Pour the batter into a pan in circular shapes, cooking for a minute until bubbles form, then flip.
7. Serve with honey and pistachios. Enjoy!
