Ingredients:
- 500 ml milk.
- 3 tablespoons semolina.
- 3 tablespoons sugar.
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch or custard powder.
- Rose water (to taste).
- 1 tablespoon flour.
- 1 roll of phyllo dough (or "goulash" pastry).
- Oil.
For decoration:
- Sugar.
- Cinnamon.
- Honey.
Instructions:
1. Heat the milk with the semolina and sugar in a pot, stirring well. In a separate bowl, mix milk with cornstarch and custard powder, then stir.
2. When the milk mixture starts to heat up, add the cornstarch and custard mixture and stir until you reach the desired consistency. Add the rose water and let it cool.
3. In a bowl, mix water with flour. Prepare the phyllo dough (goulash pastry) and cut it in half. Place the cream inside the phyllo dough, then fold and seal. Fry in hot oil, then decorate with sugar, cinnamon, and honey. Enjoy!
