"Ozi Meat: Tender meat with flavorful spiced rice."

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of ghee.
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • 1 teaspoon of mixed spices.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • 3 cups of peas.
  • 3 cups of white basmati rice.
  • 2 tablespoons of ghee.
  • 1 cinnamon stick.
  • 4 cardamom pods.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 2 tablespoons of salt.
  • 1 cup of beef broth.
  • 3 cups of hot water.
  • 1/2 cup of cashews.

Instructions:

1. Prepare a pot with 2 tablespoons of ghee.


2. On high heat, add the lamb and stir it.


3. Season the meat with salt, black pepper, and mixed spices.


4. Add 3 cups of boiling water and let it simmer on low heat for 1 hour.


5. Prepare another pot for the rice. Add 2 tablespoons of ghee, 1 cinnamon stick, 4 cardamom pods, and 2 bay leaves.


6. Add the washed and drained rice and stir.


7. Add 1 cup of meat broth and 3 cups of hot water.


8. Season with salt and cover the pot for 30 minutes after it starts boiling.


9. Roast the cashews in ghee.


10. Once the water evaporates from the meat, add the peas and cover for 5 minutes.


11. Transfer the rice to a serving dish and pour the peas, meat, and cashews on top. Enjoy your meal!
