"Orange Kunafa: A Zesty Twist on a Classic Indulgence"
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of whole kunafa.
- Butter cube.
- 2 tablespoons melted butter.
- A pinch of sugar.
- 1 cup orange juice.
- A pinch of vanilla.
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
- 2 tablespoons custard powder.
- 3 tablespoons sugar.
- Orange zest.
- Orange slices and pistachios for garnish.
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish with butter, then place the whole kunafa in the dish. Add a little sugar and melted butter on top.
2. Bake in the oven at 180°C for ten minutes.
3. To make the orange sauce, combine fresh orange juice, vanilla, cornstarch, custard powder, and sugar in a saucepan. Stir well.
4. Once heated, add the orange zest and stir until the mixture thickens.
5. Remove the kunafa from the oven, pour the orange sauce over it, and garnish with orange slices and pistachios. Enjoy!
