Okra Magic: Dive into the Rich, Flavorful World of a Classic Egyptian Stew!
Ingredients:
- Carrot.
- Onion.
- Bay leaf.
- Half a kilogram of meat.
- Tomato.
- Ghee.
- Two cloves of garlic.
- One tablespoon of dried.
- coriander.
- Two grains of mastic.
- One tablespoon of tomato.
- purée.
- One cup of meat broth.
- Okra.
- Salt and black pepper.
- Bouillon cube.
- Paprika.
- Sugar.
Instructions:
1. Cut the onion and carrot and place them in hot water with the bay leaf. Then, cut the meat and add it to the water to boil.
2. Cut the tomatoes and blend them with water in a food processor.
3. In a pot, add ghee and garlic and sauté. Then add the coriander, mastic, and tomato purée, and stir before adding the tomato juice.
4. After it boils, add one cup of meat broth and the okra, and let it cook for ten minutes.
5. Then, add the meat to the okra for another ten minutes, add the spices, and place everything in a casserole dish in the oven. Serve with bread and enjoy.
