"Mabrousha: A Traditional Crumbly Delight with Coconut and Jam!"
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter.
- 1/4 cup corn oil.
- 1 cup sugar.
- 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla.
- 3 eggs.
- 3 cups all-purpose flour.
- 1 tablespoon baking powder.
- 5 tablespoons apricot jam.
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter until it is fully melted.
2. Add the oil, sugar, and a pinch of vanilla, and mix them with a whisk.
3. Once the mixture is smooth, gradually add the eggs while continuing to mix.
4. Gradually add the flour and baking powder to the mixture.
5. At the end of adding the flour, knead the dough by hand until it becomes a smooth dough.
6. Divide a quarter of the dough, shape it into small balls, and place them in the freezer to firm up.
7. Roll out the remaining dough on a baking tray and prick it with a fork.
8. Spread the jam of your choice over the dough.
9. Take the dough balls out of the freezer and grate them over the jam-covered dough.
10. Bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for 25 minutes.
11. Cut and serve. Enjoy your meal!
