"Lebanese Sfouf: A Golden Cake Infused with Tradition and Turmeric!"

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups warm milk.
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric.
  • 1 to 1.5 cups sugar.
  • 2 cups flour.
  • 2 cups fine semolina.
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder.
  • 1 tablespoon anise.
  • 1/2 cup corn oil.
  • 1 tablespoon tahini.
  • SyrupPistachios.

Instructions:

1. Pour the milk into a pitcher, then add turmeric and sugar, and mix them together.


2. In a bowl, add the flour, semolina, baking powder, anise, and oil, and mix them well by hand.


3. Gradually pour in the milk and turmeric mixture.
4. Mix until the batter is well combined.


5. Grease a baking tray with tahini, pour the batter into the tray, and bake it for 25 minutes.


6. Remove it from the oven, brush it with syrup, cut it into pieces, and garnish with pistachios.
