"Harissa: A Delicious Journey into the Heart of Tradition"

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups medium semolina.
  • 2 cups sugar.
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 1/2 cup syrup.
  • 1 to 1.5 cups water.
  • 1 tablespoon ghee.
  • Pistachios for garnish.
  • 2 cups syrup.

Instructions:

1. Combine the semolina, sugar, powdered milk, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.


2. Mix the ingredients together and pour the water over them.


3. Prepare a baking tray, grease it with ghee, and then pour in the mixture.


4. Spread the mixture evenly and refrigerate for a whole day.


5. Cut the Harissa into square shapes and add any type of nuts for garnish.


6. Sprinkle a little water on top and place it in the oven near the heat for 15 minutes.


7. Take the Harissa out, cut it again, and then put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes until it becomes golden brown.


8. Pour the syrup over it. Enjoy your meal!
