Ingredients:

To make the cream:

  • 2 cups milk.
  • 1/2 cup semolina.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon starch.
  • 1 teaspoon rose water.
  • 1 can cream.

    To make the qatayef:

  • 2 cups water.
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup semolina..
  • 2 tablespoons starch.
  • 1 cup flour.
  • 1 tablespoon rose water.

Instructions:

1. Place the milk, semolina, sugar, and starch on the stove, and dissolve the starch with the cream.


2. Add the rose water and stir until reaching the desired consistency.


3. Then add the cream and let it cool completely.


4. To make the qatayef, put the water in a blender, then add the sugar, semolina, and starch.


5. Add the flour and rose water and mix them well until reaching the desired consistency.


6. Let the mixture rest for ten minutes, then pour it into a pan in the desired shape, covering it with a towel to keep the edges from drying out.


7. Put the cream in a piping bag and shape the qatayef, filling them with cream and garnishing with pistachios or nuts.
